The Sweater Vest

We have been blessed to have two creative and talented sister-in-laws that enjoy making handmade gifts for Brayden.  He has received blankets, stuffed animals, burp clothes when he was first born, and more.  We love the gifts they have given, as I am certainly no where near as talented as they are!  This past Christmas, our sister-in-law on Greg's side, Bernadette, made a very cute sweater vest for Brayden.  When we tried to put it on him, we couldn't get it over his head!!  (Brayden has a pretty big head b/c he has a lot of brain in there  : ) )  We tried everything we could to stretch it and get it on him several different times, but it didn't work.  It got to the point that Brayden would start crying everytime he even saw us holding the sweater.  Fortunately, Bernadette said she could expand the neck of the sweater, so we mailed it back to her.  We received the altered sweater vest back from her last week.  When we opened it, the first thing Brayden said was "No, I don't like it!"  But he finally let us put it on, and it fits perfectly!!  He looks very handsome in his new sweater vest and received a lot of compliments on it when he wore it to church on Sunday.  Thanks TiTi Bernadette for all of your hard work (and the laughs we got from our adventure with the sweater!)
