We had a busy, busy weekend! We started it off Friday night with dinner with family to celebrate Grandpa Grimes' recent birthday. On Saturday, we took Brayden to his first Ham N Yam festival. (For those of you who aren't from Smithfield, it is the annual street fair held each May with lots of vendors, bands, a kids play area, etc and food,including ham and yams!!) I think Brayden had a good time taking in all of the sights, and Greg & I had a good time eating!

Naptime!We finished off the weekend today by going to see Grandpa & Grammy Parr. Brayden took his first dip in their pool while we were there. He didn't seem too sure of it at first...the water was a little cool! But after a few minutes, he really seemed to like it. Greg pulled him around in a float for awhile and then he sat on the steps and splashed the rest of the time. We were so glad he liked the pool on his first time...we definitely plan on going back quite a bit over the summer!

Hate we missed the Ham N Yam this year. I bet Brayden had a ball at the pool, you'll have to bring him down here to see how he likes the beach soon!

It was definitely a momentous weekend for the big boy! He will be bored today and need a visit from Grandma to brighten him up--right?
