Easter

We traveled to upstate NY over the Easter weekend to visit Greg's relatives.  His mom, Judy aka Grammy, went with us too...it was nice to have her to help entertain Brayden on the car rides there and back!  Brayden was a trooper for the rides...he only said "I want to get out" a few times each way  : )  We were able to spend lots of time visiting with Judy's side of the family over the weekend.  We celebrated Luciana, Skip and Greg's Aunt Sandra's birthdays on Saturday night with a family dinner followed by a delicious birthday cake by Judy (guess who was super excited to eat cake---Brayden!!)  Brayden was very happy when he found his Easter basket on Sunday morning.  We went to Gramma Sharkey's church on Easter Sunday, where Brayden told everyone about his candy basket from the Easter Bunny!  There was no nursery provided, so we had to take Brayden in with us and he did GREAT...he even went down for the children's moment!  It was so cute and Greg and I were both so proud of him.  After church we went to Gramma Sharkey's house for an indoor egg hunt (it was cold and rainy all weekend) followed by lunch.  It was a great day!  We had such a good weekend and hated to leave on Monday morning.  Most of the way home and ever since, Brayden has repeatedly said he wants to go back to Gramma Sharkey's house.  I wish they weren't so far away so we could go back more often.  Below are some pictures from our trip:

Happy Birthday Greg

Greg's 32nd birthday was yesterday.  He spent the day doing his favorite thing...GOLFING!  He played in a local golf tournament with his dad and good friend.  Afterwards, we had a birthday celebration with the Grimes family.  I asked Greg if he could think of a better way to celebrate his birthday than with 5 wild kids running around the house...he didn't respond  : )
Brayden helped me decorate the cake yesterday afternoon and he was very eager to eat it right away.  It was torture for him having to wait!  If you don't know, Brayden has a sweet tooth, especially for cake!

Although he doesn't look like it in this picture, Brayden was one happy boy to finally have cake.
Little Miss Avery even came for the party!
